Yahoo! Fail

I stopped using Yahoo! Mail years ago for good reason. Now I have another one.

Yahoo! has blocked users from registering or sending a simple link to So Many Boys via their email service. If you have registered and never received an email with your password you will need to do so with another email client like Gmail.

I don’t understand why a company would think it’s a good business practice to scan personal emails and block users from seeing perfectly legal websites or content. Milkboys also had this problem not too long ago. Who knows what other sites might be blocked? They even admit to it in a delivery failure email saying, “Email not accepted for policy reasons.”

I am not overly upset on a personal level because Yahoo! is a dead company to me. I just feel bad for anyone still using it. Who knows what emails were censored before they got to your inbox?

I’ve switched to gmail a long time ago…..also uses it to get all my emails from other mails via pop ~ like uni mail n stuff..

but one thing i ♥ about yahoo is the spam guard address creation. using that, you can have ultimately an infinity of emails and that way >> categorising all ur emails…

anddddd, if one email is jeopardized [by the spam monster], you can just delete it from ur database…..

Google is the only email I can trust to take care of spam and make sure I get my emails. They don’t advertise in your email which is the most annoying thing ever about other clients. They provide more storage and capabilities than any other free client and don’t pester you up pay more like Yahoo did when I was testing this.
