Beautiful Thing is a heartwarming story of two young men coming to grips with their sexuality and the effect it has on the people in their lives.
Awful plot descriptions aside (seriously, I couldn’t find a good one), Beautiful Thing is an amazing film that everyone must see. This screen adaptation of the play was initially intended for television broadcast in the UK but was so well-received that it was released in cinemas. Probably my favorite “gay” themed film or one of the top five !
Funny, emotional, very sweet… It stays with you long after viewing it.
This is one of those rare gay themed movies that is worth watching many times over! I recomend this film to every Gay boi. Well written, very well acted and full of emotion.
One of the best, if not THE best, gay movie of all time. The boys in the film are awesome to listen to, and the Mother(also plays in some british women’s prison series) is to fall in love with, if that’s possible. A couple things to know, “naked” means tired, and “pissed” means drunk. I was confused for the first two viewings. A MUST SEE!
